Aluminum coil packaging requirements

The packaging of aluminum coils should be based on the specifications and dimensions of the product to choose the packaging box and packaging method. For box packaging, the product cannot be squeezed or moved after being packed in the box. The packaging box can be made of wood, multi-layer board, fiberboard, metal and other materials. The packaging box should be clean and tidy, with sufficient strength to ensure that it will not be deformed or damaged during storage and transportation. The nails in the wooden packing box are arranged in steps, and the nail tips should not be exposed. They should be turned upside down to avoid the nail caps and nail tips from piercing the aluminum foil during storage and transportation. The height of the bottom support should meet the requirements of forklift transportation. After the aluminum coil product has passed the inspection and covered with the inspection print, it should be wrapped with a layer of strong neutral or weak acid material, and the joints should be sealed with tape or labels. Put a soft pad on the end face to protect the end face of the aluminum coil. Add desiccant, put a plastic bag, plug the part of the plastic bag beyond the aluminum coil into the tube core, seal it with a plastic plug of a suitable size, and put it in the packing box. After the product is packed, cover it with a layer of moisture-proof paper or plastic cloth. After putting it on the packing list, it can be covered and sealed with steel belts. The steel belts should be tied firmly.

Conventional packaging of aluminum coils: For aluminum coils with a thickness greater than 0.05mm and in a hard state, they can generally be packaged in tic-tack racks, and their packaging should meet the requirements of storage and transportation. The well-shaped frame is made of wood, and the upper and lower sides are composed of two wooden squares. The height of the lower wooden square should meet the requirements of car work. The upper wooden square is made into an arc shape corresponding to the radial direction of the roll, and the upper and lower wooden squares are fixed by screws. , The length of the screw should be lower than the arc surface of the upper wooden square to avoid damage to the aluminum coil. The product has passed the inspection and covered with the inspection print. First, the aluminum foil roll should be wrapped with a layer of strong neutral or weak acid material (usually high release), and put on the packing list, and the overlap should be glued firmly with tape. Padded the end face with a soft pad to protect the end face of the aluminum box roll. Secondly, add a desiccant, wrap the entire roll with a whole piece of plastic cloth, and place the outer plastic cloth opening at the overlap point downwards and stick it firmly with tape, and plug the excess part of the plastic cloth at both ends into the tube core. Finally, wrap the entire aluminum roll and seal both ends with rain-proof cardboard of the same size along the circumferential direction. The joints between the end and the circumference and all the gaps are glued firmly with tape. Put the wrapped aluminum foil roll on the well-shaped frame and fix it with a steel belt along the circumferential direction. The steel belt should be tied firmly. Stick a box tag on each end of the packaged aluminum foil roll. In addition to considering the load-bearing and packaging costs of boxes and well-shaped frames, the transportation method and the user’s transportation and handling capacity should also be considered. Usually, the packaging weight of each aluminum coil of our company is 2.6 tons.

Aluminum coil export packaging method: Aluminum coil is a product with a large export volume. The export packaging usually adopts the fumigation tic-tack method, and the outside is fixed with a steel belt. The outside of the aluminum coil has a double-layer moisture-proof rain cloth, and the internal moisture-proof agent is sealed. Type packaging, suitable for shipping.
