3004 aluminum coil alloy introduction
3004 aluminium coil is a non- heat treatable aluminium alloy with manganese as its primary alloying element. It is similar to 3003 except for the addition of approximately 1% magnesium. It can be used to produce tempers with a higher strength but a lower ductility.

3004 aluminium coil belongs to AL-Mn alloy series, which has higher strength than 3003. And the properties of formability, solubility, and anti-corrosion are also pretty good. It usually used to produce some components which request much higher strength than 3003.More differences:
1. Different hardness:
3003 is Al-Mn alloy, and 3004 aluminum coil is Al-Mn-Mg alloy, which is 10% higher than Al3003 coil in terms of compression resistance, and is widely used in construction and tanks.
2. The price of aluminum coils is different:
because 3004 has high compressive strength and excellent ductility, the price is higher than that of 3003 aluminum coils.
3. Different applications of aluminum coils:
3003 aluminum coils are widely used in high-pressure containers, aircraft skins, bulkheads, and bile materials and pipe supports for various containers. Aluminum coil 3004 is more widely used in louver materials, heat sinks, aluminum substrates for color coating, cake trays, and roof tile substrates.
